BASSBOSS Sound Deployment at Under the K Bridge, Brooklyn

For this large-scale event at Under the K Bridge in Brooklyn, Audio Stage Gear deployed a high-output BASSBOSS system designed for powerful low-frequency impact, wide audience coverage and consistent sound throughout the venue.

The event was planned for approximately 2,000 to 3,000 guests, requiring a system capable of delivering serious output while maintaining clarity across a large open space.

The Sound System

The final deployment included 40 BASSBOSS cabinets across the main system, fills, booth monitoring and VIP areas.

The system included:

• 6 × Makara dual 21-inch subwoofers
• 6 × ZV28 dual 18-inch subwoofers
• 8 × AT212 main speakers
• 8 × DV12 loudspeakers
• 4 × CCM12 compact coaxial speakers
• 2 × VS21 subwoofers
• 2 × SSP118 subwoofers
• 2 × DJ18 subwoofers
• 2 × BB15 subwoofers

Additional DV12 loudspeakers were used for VIP coverage, while dedicated booth monitoring was built around a ZV28 and DV12 on each side of the DJ booth.

Designed for Coverage, Not Just Volume

Large events require more than simply adding more speakers.

The system was designed around audience coverage, speaker placement and maintaining strong low-frequency energy throughout the space.

Main speakers provided long-range coverage while additional cabinets were positioned to reduce dead zones and maintain consistent sound closer to the stage and throughout the audience area.

The result was a system capable of delivering the impact expected from a large electronic music event without relying on excessive volume in any single location.

Serious Bass for a Large Brooklyn Venue

Low-frequency performance was a major part of the design.

With a combination of Makara dual 21-inch, ZV28 dual 18-inch and additional BASSBOSS subwoofers, the system was built to deliver deep, sustained bass across a very large audience area.

This type of deployment allows us to create substantial low-frequency output while distributing the system across the venue for more consistent coverage.
